Three Cups Drawing

For my first drawing of three objects i made sure to use different colors of gray because they are not the same. I added shadows and a reflection using one of the cups so you would be able to tell that it has a different effect. It's very light color because it was hard to put a lot of detail in to the drawing since we didn't have much time. Overall I had a good learning experience and learned some things later on.

One Point Perspective

For my one point perspective drawing i chose to draw a picture that i took awhile back. I wanted to draw from life so everything could be more realistic. It was sort of challenging drawing the poles with the measurements equation but it turned out really nice. The last day we got to work on these i added some shadows and since you could see my light source in the middle the shadow had to go in different direction and I did a good job with that.  I used more detail tho the car in my picture because it was so close. I used the entire grey scale in my picture and I believe it tuned out very realistic.

Three Objects Drawing

This was our classes first official detailed drawing introducing us to the basics of things. We had to draw what we saw so we could create a more realistic image. I chose the three objects in the image because I have never drawn a camera before and thought it would be fun also the other two were cute and glass. The glass made reflections so I could create highlights. The closest object has more detail and a little darker shadow. The farthest object is less detailed because it would be harder for the eye to see. I used my full value scale and I worked really hard on the camera. This turned out really well but one thing I could have done better and fade the shadows more. I didn't learn shadows yet but that could have made the drawing just a little more perfect.

For my two point perspective drawing I used a picture from the outdoors. It was a museum. In the original picture there was a lot of contrast throughout so I thought it would a really good choice. I did really well with the contrast and using a lot of different shades and shadows so the sides of the buildings would really pop out. I drew a blurry person in the drawing because there was a blurry person in the picture so I didn't have a clear face to draw so then i drew a face on the side of the building and made it seem like it was a poster. I also used good lines to make the building look sharp and it turned out really well. Overall I feel that I did really well on this project and it was a really fun new challenge.

Two Point Perspective

Self Portrait

For my self portrait I had a lot of fun drawing it. I struggled with the eyes and eyelashes because my eyes had a lot of lines and my eyelashes curved up and there were a lot of them. My lips were also a weird size so I was super confused. I finished on time and I did well overall so I am proud of this drawing. I did good with the hair which was difficult when we were practicing but it turned out really well of the official one.

Grey Paper Drawing

For my grey paper drawing I really challenged myself. I drew jellyfish which was hard to draw their wrinkly skin and keep their legs in line. The jellyfish turned out so good and I was really impressed with myself I had a great time making this. At the start I didn't think it was going to turn out but once all the shading went in it turned out so good.
